OYSTER PIE 
2 pt. oysters
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
2 c. milk
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. red pepper

Mix bread and cracker crumbs and spread a layer on bottom of greased baking dish. Cover with oysters which have been drained. Spread the rest of crumbs evenly over oysters. Beat egg, add milk, salt, pepper and melted butter. Mix well and pour over pie. One cup of celery, cut fine, may be added if desired. Bake in slow oven about 350 degrees until slightly browned, about 1 hour.
