APPLE DAPPLE | |
6 c. peeled, cored and sliced apples 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 (8) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls 1 c. sour cream 3/4 c. brown sugar Place prepared apples in an oven proof dish. Square type best to fit rolls. Mix sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples. Place the refrigerated rolls on top of apples to form a top crust (don't separate rolls). Mix sour cream and brown sugar well. Spread on top of rolls. Bake on a cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes. It will be done when top is light brown and edges are dark brown. Top resembles caramel. Serve hot with ice cream, if desired. |
