SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 lg. onion, chopped
1 can cream of tomato soup
1 c. water
1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. raw rice

Brown beef with onion and drain off fat. Add rest of ingredients. mix all together and put in 3 quart casserole and bake 1 hour or longer until rice is done. Can add green pepper and other spices to taste.
