FRUIT COBBLER 
2 c. fruit (raspberries are great)
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water or fruit juice

Place fruit in 9x9 greased or sprayed pan. Mix the 3/4 cup sugar, butter, flour, baking powder and salt, cutting in butter. Add milk to make dough. Spread over fruit.

Mix the remaining 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and water. Pour over entire dish. Bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
