Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium saucepan, heat 21 ounce can prepared cherry, apple, or peach pie filling until hot and bubbly; spoon into ungreased 9 inch square pan. Separate 1 can biscuits into 10 biscuits; cut each in half. Combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Dip biscuit halves in 2 tablespoon melted butter, then in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Arrange over hot pie filling. Bake 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Serves 5. (Works well to put cinnamon and sugar in first mix and drop small pieces of biscuit into mix and cook.)
