BARBECUE RIBS 
1 onion
1 clove garlic
12 oz. chili sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. salad oil
Juice of lemon
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 dashes Tabasco
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 lb. spare ribs

Arrange spare ribs in a shallow pan. Roast in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour fat off from pan and roast 30 minutes more. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Then pour over ribs. Raise temperature to 375 degrees and bake 1 hour longer occasionally turning ribs several times. Serves 4.
