BARBECUE SAUCE 
1 chopped onion
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped celery
Salt

Brown onions in fat and add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Makes 2 cups. Can be stored for months. Good on spare ribs. Boil spare ribs until tender. Place in baking dish and cover with sauce. Bake at 350 degrees until sauce looks dried out on top.
