MRS. R.'S PUMPKIN PECAN PIE | |
4 slightly beaten eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. mashed cooked pumpkin 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. pumpkin pie seasoning 1/2 c. dark corn syrup 1 c. chopped pecans I prefer to use Comstock pumpkin pie filling as I get a better flavored pie. I prefer to mix the pecans in the pie rather than use as topping. Pour into 9 inch deep pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until set. Some ovens may take longer. |
