SWEDISH TEA COOKIES | |
1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten 1 egg white, slightly beaten 1 c. flour Ground nut meats Red jelly or jam Mix butter, brown sugar, egg yolk, and flour. Roll into little balls; dip into egg white and roll in nut meats. Place balls on greased cookie sheet and press in the center of each cookie. Bake 5 minutes at 250 degrees. Remove cookie sheet from oven and press in each center again. Return to oven and bake 10 more minutes at 350 degrees. Upon removing, fill each center with jelly or jam. |
