GRANDMA FRAN'S POTITIA 
3 c. milk (scalded)
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 lg. yeast
4 c. flour (plus)
2 1/2 to 3 c. flour

Add 4 cups flour, then 2 1/2 to 3 cups. Put on board, knead, let rise. After you add butter, sugar and eggs and yeast (cooled) to scalded milk, let cool.

FILLING:

3 lbs. walnuts
4 eggs
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. bread crumbs
2 c. sugar

Add milk to make paste. Stretch dough, spread out on board. Roll up, cut into 12 inch loaves. Put in loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees 15 minutes. Then (40 minutes to 1 hour) at 300 degrees until golden brown. Brush warm loaf with melted butter.
