BRAUTIGAN'S PITCHFORK FRIED
POTATOES
 
4-5 med. potatoes
1 lg. onion, diced
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. sweet basil
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 handful crumbled bacon
Salt, pepper, garlic powder & celery salt to taste

Wash potatoes, leaving skins on. Pierce with fork and microwave for about 8 minutes. Saute onions in butter until transparent. Cut potatoes into bite sized cubes, add to onions, turning occasionally. Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook until nicely browned. If needed, add more butter and the hungriest morning of your life. Best if accompanied with a lawn chair, then Sunday times and a laid back attitude.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
