OVERNIGHT FRENCH TOAST | |
2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. orange juice 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. vanilla 6 slices thick bread Combine beaten eggs, milk, juice, sugar, salt, cinnamon & vanilla. Place bread in a single layer in shallow dish. Pour egg mixture over bread and turn slices to coat. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet. Arrange 3 bread slices in skillet and brown on both sides. Sprinkle toast with powdered sugar. |
