COCONUT CANDY 
3/4 c. cream or whole milk
3/4 c. coconut milk or water
2 tbsp. firm butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. orange extract
5 c. sugar
2 c. fresh grated coconut

Put sugar, butter and liquids in pan and boil for five minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add coconut and extract. (Use all orange or vanilla if desired.) Beat hard until candy is thick or creamy. Pour into buttered dish or pan. Mark into blocks and cut.
