CHEESE STRAWS 
1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
2 sticks butter, room temperature
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Cayenne pepper to taste (1/2 tsp.) optional

Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

Cream together cheese and butter. Add flour, salt and cayenne pepper. Mix well and press from star attachment on cookie press. Use cookie sheet, upside down, press into rows and score with knife at desired lengths. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.

Freezes well.
