BUTTERMILK BUNS 
3 c. buttermilk, warmed
1/2 c. sugar
1 cake yeast
1/2 c. melted butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
8 c. flour

Mix together the first 3 ingredients; dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Let stand 15 minutes. Then add melted butter and beaten eggs. Sift soda and salt with 4 cups flour and add to first mixture. Beat until smooth. Add remaining flour. Knead well and let rise. Shape into buns, any size. Let rise to double in bulk. Bake at 400 degrees until brown.
