SHEPHERD'S PIE 
1 1/2 lbs. boneless lamb, cut into 3/4 inch cubes
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 servings instant mashed potatoes
2 med. tomatoes, chopped
1 med. onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water

Microwave:

1. Place lamb, tomatoes and onion in 3 quart casserole. Mix flour, bouillon, salt, pepper and water; stir into lamb and vegetables. Cover.

2. Microwave at HIGH 5 minutes. Stir. Reduce power to MEDIUM-HIGH. Microwave, covered, until lamb is tender, 25 to 30 minutes, stirring after half the cooking time. Stir 3 to 4 times during cooking.

3. Let stand, covered, while preparing potatoes according to package directions. Spoon mounds of hot mashed potatoes over lamb mixture. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute to set potatoes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
