RAISIN ROCKS 
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water

Boil 10 minutes and cool.

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour (may take less)

Into the boiled raisin-water mixture, add your shortening, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, cloves, soda, salt and flour. Drop by teaspoon on a cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
