2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 c. regular oats, uncooked
3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter and milk in a heavy saucepan; stir well. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil; boil 1 minute. Stir in oats, peanut butter and vanilla. Drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto lightly greased wax paper; cool thoroughly. Yields about 4 dozen cookies.
