DIRT DESSERT

1 (2 1/4 lb.) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed fine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
2 sm. pkg. instant chocolate fudge pudding
3 3 1/2 c. whole milk
1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip

In either clay flower pot or childs sand pail (clean!) place small amount of crushed cookies. Layer pudding mix and crushed cookies ending with crushed cookies. Use toy shovel to serve dessert. If flower pots are used, put artificial flower in middle.

Variation: For Sand Dessert use crushed Pecan Sandies and French vanilla pudding.

Write the following on a card:

I know I look strange, but dig right in. The flowers are fake, but the dirt is cake. I don't need water, or tender loving care. Just eat my dirt until the pot is bare.
