TACO SALAD (MEXICAN) 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 env. dry onion soup mix
1/3 c. water
2 c. cut up lettuce
1/2 c. shredded cheese
1 tomato, diced
1 green onion
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. chopped ripe olives or 3 tbsp. sliced ripe olives
1 c. corn chips

Brown meat in saucepan. Sprinkle with soup mix. Add water. Cook slowly for about 10 minutes. Chop aand shred lettuce, tomato, green onion nd green pepper. Add salt. Crush corn chips. Shred cheese. Assemble in salad bowl in this order. Layer of lettuce, tomato, green pepper, onion, chopped olives, shredded cheese, hot meat mixture and crushed corn chips.
