SPINACH DIP 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 env. onion soup mix
2 tsp. finely chopped onion
Parmesan cheese to taste

LIGHT VERSION:

1 c. plain yogurt
1 c. lite mayonnaise

REGULAR VERSION:

1 c. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise

Mix all ingredients. Refrigerate 24 hours or overnight. Serve with snack crackers, party rye, or hallowed-out round bread loaf.
