“KIM'S HEART-HEALTHY ITALIAN SHRIMP SKETTY” IS IN:

KIM'S HEART-HEALTHY ITALIAN
SHRIMP SKETTY
 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. whole-wheat spaghetti noodles
1 (24 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (your choice)

ITALIAN SHRIMP:

3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup zucchini, finely chopped
1 (12 to 16 oz.) pkg. cooked shrimp (I use small)
dried of oregano
dash of garlic salt
1 tsp. rosemary
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
garlic powder, to taste
black pepper, to taste
red pepper flakes, to taste
1/4 cup flax seed (optional)
3 to 4 tsp. olive oil

Prepare spaghetti according to package directions. White it's cooking...

Heat olive oil in skillet. When warm add garlic, chopped zucchini and shrimp. Sauté. Add seasonings (possibly adding more olive oil, if needed) and sauté in, stirring constantly. Pour your spaghetti sauce over shrimp mixture. Add flax seed (if using) and stir well. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Pour mixture over your spaghetti noodles and serve with a yummy salad and garlic bread on whole wheat!
