CRUNCHY ROLLED SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. softened butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream the butter, powdered sugar, egg, vanilla and almond extract.

Add flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Chill 2 to 3 hours.

Roll to three-sixteenths inch and use cookie cutters.

Bake on lightly greased sheet for 7 to 8 minutes at 375 degrees.
