ROLL OUT SUGAR COOKIES ("No
Fail")
 
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (no substitute)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla then dry ingredients. Store in tightly covered bowl at least 8 hours before rolling. 350 degrees, 8-10 minutes.
