1 c. butter
2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 2 ounces Ouzo
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
6 eggs, beaten
1 c. finely chopped nuts
2 c. flour
1 c. yogurt
1 tsp. ground cloves

Melt butter. Add sugar and stir. Add other ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour syrup over warm cake (it will soak in).

SYRUP:

3 c. sugar
2 c. water
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Dissolve sugar in water, add lemon juice. Boil slowly for 30 minutes. Pour over cake.
