RUM CAKE 
Oven at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 box instant coconut cream or French vanilla pudding
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water

Mix all together and pour into greased and floured tube pan. While still hot leave in pan and poke holes into cake and pour rum sauce over cake slowly until all is used.

RUM SAUCE:

1/4 c. water
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. rum

Mix and cook until sugar and butter are melted.

Instead of using 1 cup water use 1/2 cup rum and a 1/2 cup water to get the rum flavor into the cake instead of just the glaze. I have done this for years and I also have put walnuts into the cake batter.
