SAUCEPOT MEATBALLS 
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
1 1/4 c. water
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. parsley flakes

In deep saucepan bring onion soup and water to boil, add 1 1/2 cans of tomato sauce. Simmer covered 10 minutes. Mix together beef, seasonings and parsley and the remaining tomato sauce. Shape this into 16 small meatballs and place them in soup, simmer gently uncovered about 25 minutes. Turn occasionally. Serve with spaghetti, rice or noodles. Serves 4.
