DATE KRISPY BALLS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. cut up dates
3 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan; add sugar. Stir in the egg. Add the dates. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and Rice Krispies. Form into balls. Roll in chopped nuts or coconut.
