I have used this exact recipe for many years, but lately I am having difficulty getting it to stick together to form balls! Any suggestions? This has always been my favorite treat at Christmas.

I was looking for a date and nut recipe that didn't call for dozens of ingredients. This one looked promising. I made these for Christmas. They are a hit. Thanks for the recipe.

Try using a small scoop and pressing down hard with your hand.

These were indeed easy and completely delectable! My husband's family are ridiculously finicky and they even gobbled them up (I didn't tell them what was in the date balls though!). The wonderful taste of the dates was there and the delicate crispness of the Rice Krispies kept the sweet from being overwhelming. It reminded me of Baklava to be perfectly honest. Excellent recipe! Thanks!
