DATE & NUT BALLS 
1/4 lb. butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg, beaten
Pinch of salt
8 oz. dates, chopped
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. Rice Krispies

Cook butter, sugar, egg, salt and dates for 10 minutes. Let stand for a few minutes. Mix with Rice Krispies and nuts. Form into ball and roll in coconut (or ground walnuts).
