CHESS CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 box light brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt on low heat butter and brown sugar. Remove from heat and beat ingredients, one at a time. Sift flour with baking powder. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until tests done. Cut into bars while warm and roll in powdered sugar.
