WHITE AND DARK CHOCOLATE CHUNK
COOKIES
 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
12 oz. semi-sweet chunks or chips
6 oz. white chocolate chips

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in flour mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolates.

Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets. Bake until edges brown but centers are still slightly soft, 10-12 minutes. Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes before cooling on a rack. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
