CHOCOLATE CHUNK PECAN COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chunks
2/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. Beat sugars, butter, egg and vanilla at medium speed until fluffy. Reduce speed to low; add flour, increase speed until blended. Stir in chips and pecans.

Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 1 sheet at a time for 17 minutes or until cookie edges are lightly brown and tops look dry.

Easy and very good. I baked them for 20 minutes. I only had mini chocolate chips and I used one cup. It made just short of 3 dozen.
