WHITE CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
10 oz. white chocolate bar or chips

Beat shortening, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well. Add vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Temperature: 350 degrees. Time: 10 to 15 minutes. Serves: 5 dozen.

Hint: Do not use almond bark or vanilla flavored candy coating.
