AMERICAN COOKIE CELEBRATION -
WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
 
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter flavored shortening
1/3 c. butterscotch chips, melted & cooled
1 egg
1 tbsp. plus 1 1/2 teaspoon milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. vanilla milk chips
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 c. flake coconut
1/3 c. coarsely chopped Macadamia nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine brown sugar, butter flavored shortening, butterscotch chips, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Stir in vanilla milk chips, semi-sweet chips, coconut and nuts with spoon. Flour hands lightly to shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Place two inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool two minutes on baking sheet before removing to cooling rack.
