STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 lg. green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. Minute Rice
1 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut stem end of each pepper. Remove all seeds and membranes. Wash inside and outside. Microwave for 4 to 5 minutes or boil in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.

Mix remaining ingredients. Stuff each pepper with 1/4 of meat mixture. Stand peppers upright in ungreased baking dish. Cover, bake 45 minutes. Uncover, bake 15 minutes longer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
