STUFFED PEPPERS | |
4 lg. green peppers 1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1 c. Minute Rice 1 c. water 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/2 c. cracker crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut stem end of each pepper. Remove all seeds and membranes. Wash inside and outside. Microwave for 4 to 5 minutes or boil in 1 cup water for 5 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients. Stuff each pepper with 1/4 of meat mixture. Stand peppers upright in ungreased baking dish. Cover, bake 45 minutes. Uncover, bake 15 minutes longer. |
