FINNISH FRUIT SOUP 
12 oz. mixed dried fruits (Add 1/2 c. dried apples if not included in dried fruit.)
1/2 c. seedless light raisins
4 c. water
2 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
3 inch stick cinnamon
6 whole cloves

Remove prune pits, cut mixed fruit into small pieces. Combine all other ingredients. Simmer, covered until fruits are tender, about 30 to 40 minutes. Remove cinnamon and cloves. Serve hot or cold.
