(This is what you can do with those Halloween pumpkins. You can freeze your cut up pumpkin also.)
Best served when you let it sit for a day in refrigerator to blend the flavors. 4 c. peeled apples, diced 1/2 c. maple syrup 1 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Fill it with the pumpkin and apples. Pour maple syrup on top. Combine the rest of ingredients together and pour over pumpkin and apples. Bake for 40 minutes. Delicious!
