GINGER DROP COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
3 c. flour
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ground ginger

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter, sugar, and shortening. Add eggs and molasses. Sift flour with spices and add to butter mixture. Combine thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes thin and crisp cookies.
