GINGER ICEBOX COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 egg, beaten
4 c. flour
1/3 c. molasses
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. raisins
Nuts

Cream shortening and sugar well. Add the rest of the ingredients in order given. Mix well. Make into a roll and chill. Slice thin. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
