RICE PILAF (MICROWAVE) 
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. rice
1 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. parsley
1/2 c. celery
1 can chicken broth or beef
4 oz. mushrooms

In deep 2 quart casserole combine butter, onion, parsley, celery. Heat uncovered for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and heat covered 10 to 12 minutes or until tender. Allow to stand 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
