FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
3 tbsp. sweet milk
2 2/3 tsp. baking soda
3 cups plain flour
3/4 cups cooking sherry
1 tsp. sherry flavoring
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter and brown sugar thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Alternately add liquids with sifted dry ingredients beginning and ending with flour mixture.

Sift 1/2 of 1 cup flour over 6 cups broken nuts, 1 lb. box white raisins, 1 lb. candied red cherries and 1/2 lb. candied green pineapple. After rolling the above together, mix it into the dough.

Drop from soup spoon on greased cookie sheet.

Bake in 300°F oven until golden brown.

Makes 15 - 18 doz. cookies if dropped very small.
