1 c. Crisco 1 c. powdered sugar 2 c. flour 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda Sift flour with cream of tartar and soda. Mix well together. 1 beaten egg 1 tsp. vanilla Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. Form into balls and press down with glass dipped in beaten egg. Sprinkle with sugar or nuts. Bake in moderate oven until brown. | |
