COTTAGE CHEESE JELLO SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. cream, whipped
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
1/2 c. cottage cheese
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Dissolve Jello in hot water. Add cold water and partially set. Fold in remaining ingredients. Chill several hours or overnight. Use small curd cottage cheese. Can use pineapple juice in place of cold water. Can also add marshmallows.
