CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 sticks butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
2 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or other flavoring

FROSTING:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
Milk
Any flavoring

Cream butter and cream cheese together. Add sugar, eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together; then add to mixture gradually. Handle as little as possible. Roll and cut into desired shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

FROSTING: Combine frosting ingredients. Stir until creamy; then ice and sprinkle cookies.
