Slice thin into a bowl and set aside:

2 med. cucumbers, rinsed and pared if desired

Put into small bowl:

1/2 c. cream

Gradually add, stirring constantly:

2 tbsp. cider vinegar

Stir in:

2 1/4 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Pour dressing over cucumbers and toss to coat evenly. Chill thoroughly. 4-6 servings.
