FINISH APPLE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. diced apples

Combine softened butter, sugars, beaten eggs and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add water, mix again. Sift flour with baking powder and baking soda. Add to first mixture, mix all together. Stir in cut up apples.

Bake in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tests done.

Serve like a coffee cake.
