APPLE COOKIE - CRUST COBBLER 
12 apples, unpeeled, sliced thin
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Cinnamon & nutmeg

Toss together and place in a greased 9 x 13 inch pyrex dish. 2 sticks butter 1 c. brown sugar, packed

Mix these ingredients and make small (walnut-sized) balls and flatten in your hands. Over-lap on apples and cover the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
