4 apples
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 stick butter
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg

Peel and dice 4 apples. Place in baking dish and sprinkle over apples 3/4 cup sugar, desired spices, and 1/2 cup water; set aside.

Melt 1 stick butter. Mix 1 cup self-rising flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 egg until well crumbled. Sprinkle this over apples. Then drizzle melted butter over top. Bake at 400 degrees until brown. Also good when made with frozen peaches.
