CRAZY CRUST APPLE PIE 
1/3 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. water
1 can apple pie filling

Cream shortening with egg and sugar. Add flour, salt, baking powder and water. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into ungreased pie plate. Shape batter up sides making a slight hollow in the center.

Pour apple pie filling into the hole in batter. Do not stir. Bake at 425 degrees for about 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
